What we handle

Look before you pay.

The camera goes down the line and you watch the monitor with us. The belly, the offset joint, the root, the break: your own pipe, not somebody’s opinion of it.

A sewer inspection monitor on the floor showing the inside of a pipe, camera reel alongside
One of our own jobs. There is no stock photography anywhere on this site.

The job behind the photograph.

A blockage tells you almost nothing about why it blocked. Two houses on the same street with the same symptom can want a twenty-minute cable and a full mainline replacement, and the only honest way to tell them apart is to put a camera in and look. That is why nobody here writes a number for a repair before the line has been seen.

What the camera finds is usually one of a short list. A belly, where a section has settled and holds standing water that everything else catches on. An offset joint, where two lengths have shifted out of line and left a lip. Roots, in through a joint or a crack, and the joint is the thing that matters because they grow back to the same one. Scale and corrosion, on cast iron that has been in the ground since the house was built. Or a clean break, usually with the ground washing into it.

You watch it live, on the monitor, standing next to it. Where the run allows, the head is located from the surface so the depth and the position are marked on the ground rather than estimated. That is what turns "somewhere under the drive" into a hole in one place. And a camera run is worth having before you buy a property, before a floor goes down, and after a jetting, when it is the one time the wall of the pipe is actually visible.

You watch it

On the monitor, live

Standing next to it while it runs, not sent a still afterwards.

Bellies, offsets, roots, breaks

And tells them apart, which is the whole point of looking.

Buying, paving, quoting

A line you cannot see is the most expensive assumption on the property.

Get somebody out to the line.

Which fixtures are affected and roughly how long it has been going on is enough to start with. If it is backing up right now, the phone is faster than the form, and it is answered at any hour.

Used only to call you back about the work.

Usually wanted at the same time.

An opened trench in a concrete floor with the failed drain line exposed and tools laid around it

Sewer Mainline

Broken, bellied and offset line dug out and replaced, from the fixture to the city connection.

A cast iron drain pulled out of an excavation with a heavy mass of tree roots grown through it

Root Removal

Roots cut out, and the joint they came in through found. They grow back to the same crack otherwise.

A technician running a hydro jetting hose up into the overhead waste lines of a parking structure

Hydro Jetting

Water at pressure, scouring the pipe wall back to bare instead of punching a hole through the grease.
